Cissus discolor has dramatic color contrasts of silver, black, and purple. The heart-shaped foliage is simply spectacular! Discolor is commonly refered to as Rex Begonia Vine, however it is not a Begonia. The twining vine can be trained to climb a trelis, fence, wire rings, and totems. Cissus is not hardy to temperatures below 50°F. Luckily the Rex Begonia Vine will perform well as a houseplant and can be overwintered indoors. Cissus discolor will normally vine to 3-5' long, but has been know to reach 10-15' if left alone.
