'Purple Cloak' is a rare Alocaisa from Malaysia. The V-shaped leaves are very distinct, with a high glossy dark green-blue-silver top side. The under side of Alocasia princeps 'Purple Cloak' is a purple-red color which is some what typical of other "Fancy" or "Jewel" type Alocasia. The leaves of 'Purple Cloak' are very thick and durable. The petioles are dark purple-red.
