Lonicera sempervirens 'Honey Coral' is an All Native Selection of Honeysuckle. 'Honey Coral' is a twining, climbing vine that will scramble over fences, trellises, and arbors. Honeysuckle can be trained to become a structure. The bright red to orange-red flowers are showy and have an extended blooming season which attracts butterflies and hummingbirds. 'Honey Coral' is not aggressive like the closely related, non-native Japanese Honeysuckle. This native can be grown in the Eastern U.S., from Connecticut southward to Central Florida and west to Texas. Habitat: Rich hammocks, sandhills, open woodlands, and thickets.
