This free branching cultivar has narrow, dark green, waxy leaves with wavy margins. Medium sized blooms are white, star-shaped (pointed) and tower high above the foliage. Having as many as 20 to 25 flowers at a time in a 8 inch pot is not unusual. Usually blooms from February through August but can be force-bloomed for utilization in 4-10 inch container production. With its hybrid vigor, Starlight can be finished 10 to 15 percent faster than most Spathiphyllums of its type. This Spath is an outstanding interior plant.
